Husband Vs Wife Soap Challenge Ocean Soap For Pure Skin Care
There’s something magical about the ocean in summer — the endless blue, the sparkle of the sun on the water, the feeling of calm and refreshment it brings. That’s exactly what inspired our latest soap challenge here at Josspure: to capture the look and feel of the ocean in one beautiful bar of soap.
This friendly showdown between my husband and me turned into a creative, colorful (and slightly competitive 😅) adventure. We each set out to design a soap that looks like the ocean — swirls, waves, seafoam and all — using only natural ingredients, micas, and our own artistic touch. The results? Two totally different interpretations, but both bursting with tropical vibes.
The winner? We’re leaving that up to you. 😉
Introducing: Tropical Vibes 🧼🌴
Our summer collection wouldn’t be complete without a bar that brings serious island energy — and that’s where Tropical Vibes comes in. This ocean-inspired soap is more than just a pretty bar. It’s a full-on sensory experience.
Think juicy pineapple, sweet coconut, and a hint of sea breeze. The scent is uplifting and refreshing — like a tropical vacation in your shower. We used skin-loving oils like coconut, olive, and avocado, along with natural colorants and a splash of sea clay to give the soap its dreamy swirls and gentle cleansing properties.
The Ocean-Inspired Challenge 🌊
We documented the entire soap-making challenge — from idea to final swirl — and posted the full video on our YouTube channel. You’ll see the behind-the-scenes process, our (very different) approaches to “ocean design,” and of course, the final reveal.
While one of us went bold with deep turquoise and crashing waves, the other took a more subtle approach — soft seafoam, calm blues, and beachy layers. We had so much fun creating these soaps, and even more fun sharing the process with you.
